AI Data Engineer

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an AI Data Engineer

Position Type: Full-time (Contract)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension or Conversion)
Location: Chandler, AZ / Charlotte, NC / Minnesota, MN / Las Colinas, TX : 3 days onsite /2 days remote

As an AI Data Engineer (Google Cloud Platform), you will:

• Implement and operationalize modern AI-enabled data capabilities on Google Cloud to ingest, transform, and distribute data for a variety of big data applications.
• Design, develop, and support scalable Spark-based data ingestion and processing pipelines.
• Leverage AI and agentic frameworks to automate data management, governance, metadata, data quality, and data compliance capabilities.
• Build and maintain Data Lakehouse solutions using Google Cloud technologies.
• Develop real-time streaming data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and Spark Streaming.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience in data engineering with expertise in Spark-based ingestion and processing.
• Experience designing and implementing Data Lakehouse architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, PySpark, Kafka, Airflow (Cloud Composer), Google Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Dataproc.
• Experience building streaming data applications using Kafka, Flink, and Spark Streaming.
• Hands-on experience with AI technologies including LangChain, LangGraph/ADK, RAG, GraphRAG, MCP, and agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience implementing AI-driven automation for data pipelines, metadata management, data governance, data quality, and compliance.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $50hr - $55hr
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
