What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff visitors and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures policies and emergency response activities at an educational location.
• Monitor access to the facility greet and direct visitors verify credentials as required and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner notifying appropriate campus contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Observe front-desk activity and report suspicious behavior policy violations hazards and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs incident reports and shift documentation while providing professional communication and support to the campus community.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
