ABOUT THE ROLE – Maintenance Technician\n
\nWe are seeking a skilled and energetic Maintenance Technician to support equipment maintenance and reliability across our 24/7 beverage and dessert manufacturing facility in Penn Yan, NY. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, completing repairs, and ensuring equipment remains in safe and efficient operating condition. Maintenance Technicians play a critical part in minimizing downtime and supporting overall plant performance.\n
\n \n
WHAT YOU’LL DO \n
\n• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems\n
\n• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment\n
\n• Identify abnormal equipment conditions and resolve issues to maintain proper operation\n
\n• Support machine setup, testing, adjustments, and mechanical rebuilds\n
\n• Perform emergency repairs as needed during daily operations\n
\n• Work safely around moving machinery, steam systems, compressed air, and cleaning chemicals\n
\n• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and technical drawings (preferred)\n
\n• Perform building and facility maintenance including carpentry, plumbing, painting, welding, and general repairs as needed\n
\n• Support wastewater and utility systems as applicable\n
\n• Communicate equipment concerns and improvement opportunities to leadership\n
\n• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately\n
\n• Perform other duties as assigned\n

WHAT YOU’LL NEED \n
\n• High school diploma or GED required\n
\n• Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience\n
\n• Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment\n
\n• Experience with electrical, electro‑mechanical, or pneumatic systems\n
\n• Troubleshooting experience preferred\n
\n• Ability to read schematics and drawings preferred\n
\n• Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n
\n• Strong problem‑solving skills and self‑motivation\n
\n• Ability to work effectively as part of a team\n
\n• Safe work habits and commitment to following safety procedures\n
\n• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces\n
\n• Reliable transportation required\n
\n \n
THE SCHEDULE & SETTING \n
\n• Full‑time position\n
\n• Schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday\n
\n• Training: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. for approximately 90 days\n
\n• Shift Options:\n

\n
• 2nd Shift: 3 p.m. – 11 p.m.
\n
• 3rd Shift: 11 p.m. – 7 a.m.
  \n • Must be flexible to work weekends and overtime
  \n • Work performed around industrial equipment, processing areas, heights, and confined spaces
  \n • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs

PAY & BENEFITS \n
\nPay Range (Base Pay): $28 – $36 per hour based on experience\n
Sign‑On Bonus: $3,000 paid after 30 days \n
\nOther Compensation: May include overtime pay and shift premiums\n
