Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR)
Location: Newark, NJ
Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8 | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Duration: 13 Weeks

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing Interventional Radiology procedures across pre-, intra-, and post-procedure phases
• Organize and administer individualized, age-specific nursing care throughout Radiology and Imaging Services with a primary focus on IV Access
• Insert, manage, and maintain vascular access devices including peripheral IVs (PIV), midlines, PICC lines, and central venous access devices
• Perform comprehensive chart review and patient assessment prior to procedures to ensure procedural readiness and safety
• Administer and monitor moderate/procedural sedation and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition

Requirements:

• Active NJ RN License required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required
• Experience in Interventional Radiology, IV Access, or procedural nursing preferred
• Experience with vascular access (PIV, Midline, PICC, Central Lines) preferred
• Moderate/procedural sedation experience preferred
• Epic charting experience required
• First-time travelers and local candidates accepted
