Pay & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Perform coronary artery bypass grafting and valvular repairs/replacements
• Conduct repairs of congenital heart defects and aneurysms
• Execute lung resections, including VATs, and chest wall/pleural procedures
• Manage esophageal and diaphragm surgeries
• Perform carotid and renal endarterectomies
• Assist with ventilation management and bronchoscopies
• Evaluate and coordinate perioperative care for adult patients in a hospital setting

What You Need:

• Active Ohio medical license and board certification in surgery
• Minimum of several years' experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery
• Proficiency in complex surgical procedures and critical care management
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

About the Assignment:

This opportunity is with a full-service acute care hospital in Springfield, Ohio, equipped with onsite lab and imaging facilities, including x-ray. The facility has 250 beds, including 60 ICU beds, and handles a wide range of cardiovascular and thoracic cases. The assignment offers an excellent chance to provide high-quality surgical care in a supportive environment, with scheduling flexibility to fit your availability.
