This role keeps essential government facilities running — data centers, hospitals, and high‑reliability environments. You’ll work hands‑on with electrical and mechanical systems, perform diagnostics, and keep critical infrastructure operating safely and continuously.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair critical electrical + mechanical systems
• Install and troubleshoot AC/DC power systems
• Perform diagnostics using multimeters, DLROs, infrared tools
• Service UPS systems, batteries, PDUs, generators, ATS
• Read and interpret electrical schematics
• Support BMS and EPMS operations
• Perform wiring, conduit bending, and electrical service work
• Work in a paired technician system for safety and support
• Document work clearly and follow strict safety protocols
• Work 12‑hour rotating shifts (including weekends/holidays)

What You Need

• 5+ years in critical facilities (data center, hospital, etc.)
• Strong AC/DC electrical skills + mechanical aptitude
• Experience with UPS, PDUs, generators, ATS, BMS, EPMS
• Ability to read complex electrical/mechanical diagrams
• High‑voltage safety knowledge
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts in a union environment
• Ability to earn a Harrisburg Electrical License within 1 year

Work Environment

You’ll work fully onsite in a secure government facility with advanced electrical systems — switchgear, generators, UPS, PDUs, ATS, BMS, EPMS. Shifts are 12 hours, rotating, with overtime built in. Technicians always work in pairs, follow strict safety protocols, and operate in a union setting with employer‑paid dues.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mechanicsburg, PA.

The pay range for this position is $108160.00 - $110240.00/yr.
