Supervisory Information Technology Specialist

DutiesYou will manage and supervise complex custom information technology (IT) design, development, modification and support of educational, professional, and administrative services in a college/university environment.You will originate technical approaches for advanced automation concepts to provide users detailed system analysis, design and requirements for technical solutions based on these concepts.You will consult with customers to identify and specify requirements for developing overall functional and IT systems requirements and specifications to translate functional and technical requirements into designs and technical solutions.You will ensure the rigorous application of information security information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis and development processes.You will manage all aspects of IT projects from inception to successful completion including development of a formal, written project plan that includes a plan of action and milestones (POAM).
