Vacuum Equipment Operator

Job Title

This position works inside chemical plants operating equipment that recovers plastic scrap from tanks, railcars, sump ponds and other areas within the work site.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a chemical plant is highly preferred

• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written

• Ability to effectively coordinate with coworkers and clients

• Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive deadlines

• Experience with Vacuum Equipment is preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely operate vacuum equipment

• Work in a team environment

• Adhere to all safety policies set by supervisors and chemical plant personnel

• Effectively communicate with facility managers, plant supervisors, plant operations and safety personnel and other employees in a timely and professional manner

• Other duties may be assigned.
