Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures. The RN will support patients before, during, and after procedures while collaborating with physicians and the cardiac care team. Candidates must have cardiac experience, with ICU or PCU experience required, and be available for scheduled on-call coverage.

Location: Hudson, FL

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Schedule: Day shift, rotating weekends. On-call 7–9 times per month and every 3rd or 4th weekend. On-call coverage includes 3:30 PM–7:00 AM.

Pay Range: $33–$47/hour, plus $4.75 differential

Sign-On Bonus: Based on years of experience

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and review medical records, test results, and examination findings.
• Administer medications according to physician orders.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to support patient safety and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Active Florida RN license or appropriate compact license. If using a compact license, an active Florida RN license is required within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); BSN preferred.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Cardiac experience required; ICU or PCU experience is required.
• 1–3 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician is listed in the job requirements.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills.
• Ability to participate in the required on-call rotation.
