What You'll Do:

Deliver high-quality critical care to ICU patients, adhering to hospital protocols and standards
Assess patient conditions, interpret data, and modify care plans accordingly
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery processes
Document patient care accurately using electronic health records (Epic preferred)
Maintain safety protocols and ensure infection control standards are followed
Adapt communication style to effectively engage with diverse patient populations

What You Need:

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
NIH certification highly preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Physical ability to perform the duties described

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher
Experience with Epic documentation and critical care procedures
