Job Description

The Concrete Finisher will play a critical role in residential construction projects, working within a medium-sized team of 4-7 members. This position involves expertly pouring and finishing concrete surfaces, setting up formwork, and ensuring proper curing while adhering closely to safety standards. The finisher will operate equipment and maintain an orderly job site, occasionally reporting any equipment maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

Pour concrete accurately according to project specifications
Finish concrete surfaces to desired textures and smoothness
Set up and dismantle formwork to support concrete structures
Ensure proper curing of concrete to achieve durability
Comply with all safety regulations and site protocols
Operate concrete finishing equipment safely and efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site
Report any equipment issues promptly to maintenance personnel

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years experience in concrete finishing
Proficient in a variety of concrete finishing techniques
Experienced in formwork construction and setup
Skilled in using trowels, floats, and texture finishing tools
Strong understanding of construction safety protocols
Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
