Global Financial Firm located in Rutherford, NJ has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Product Owner. Pay Rate: $91.00 - $96.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience. Work Mode: Hybrid. Location: Rutherford, NJ.

Summary

Experienced Retail Risk Product Owner to lead the development and enhancement of a new Loss Forecast Platform for use in CCAR and internal loss forecast processes. Possess deep expertise in retail credit risk, regulatory stress testing (CCAR), and agile product management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Loss Forecast Platform.
• Conduct market research and gather stakeholder feedback.
• Translate strategic objectives into detailed product requirements and user stories.
• Act as the primary liaison to capture, analyze, and prioritize business requirements.
• Develop and maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to elicit detailed requirements.
• Work closely with agile development teams throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet specified requirements.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of retail credit risk methodologies and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with model development and validation teams.
• Effectively communicate product updates, progress, risks, and challenges to senior management.
• Monitor platform performance and user feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
• 10 years of experience in product management or business analysis within financial services, focusing on retail risk.
• 5 years of direct experience with CCAR, DFAST, or similar regulatory stress testing frameworks.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology platforms or products in an agile environment.
• Solid understanding of retail credit products and associated risk drivers.
• Familiarity with risk modeling concepts and methodologies.
• Experience with data analytics tools, SQL, and understanding of large-scale data architecture concepts.
