We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Flora, Louisiana. As an OT, you will work closely with patients to assess their needs and develop individualized treatment plans aimed at improving their ability to perform daily tasks and activities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify their physical, emotional, and social needs
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans designed to enhance motor skills, cognitive function, and emotional well-being
• Help patients regain independence through therapeutic interventions, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and lifestyle modifications
• Track patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
• Provide education and support to patients and families regarding therapeutic techniques, safety measures, and long-term recovery strategies
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care and coordinated treatment
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Louisiana
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong understanding of occupational therapy techniques and interventions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work with patients of all ages and adapt to various conditions
