Dietary Manager is responsible for the planning, preparation, and service of all diets and the maintenance of accepted standards of practice for the preparation and service of these diets.Certification as Dietary Manager requiredPosition: Full Time; Health, Dental + Vision Insurance; PTO/STO; 401(A); Short Term/Long Term DisabilityDuties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the orientation and training of new dietary personnelProvides ongoing in-service for dietary personnelSupervises the use and care of all equipmentMaintains safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures pertaining to dietary departmentOrdering of food suppliesReceives and checks incoming suppliesPlans menus, adhering to budgetMaintains accurate time records for dietary employeesResponsible for the part of the disaster plan that applies to the dietary departmentInventory of food supplies and equipment monthlyPlans and prepares meals for special meetings and partiesOther duties as assigned
