WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests; a day in the life of an Outlet Manager demands high levels of energy in order to keep up. They need consistency even though the days are never alike; and creativity to tackle daily adventures. The Outlet Manager is responsible for the overall management of the lobby café and hotel bar’s operational functions within the department during their day. This will include having a well‑known presence on the floor while supervising assigned staff. Assist with hiring recommendations that encompass the company’s diversity commitment. Responsible for both new hire and ongoing training and coaching. Issuing performance feedback, recommending and administering corrective counseling. Oversee the scheduling of both leadership and hourly employees. Creating a work environment that promotes teamwork, recognition, mutual respect and employee engagement. Works closely in mentoring / coaching all hourly positions in additional tasks / responsibilities to optimize advancement opportunities available for growth. Provides ideas and suggestions for new products, services, technology and processes to ensure competitive position and in anticipation of changing guest needs within a dynamic hospitality environment. Conducting daily team meetings prior to the start / end of a shift for the purpose of making job assignments and discussing any goals or guest opportunities to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience. Sometimes our guests have special requests involving dietary restrictions and special occasions. Most of these requests are fulfilled by the Outlet Manager. Our hotels are truly luxury hotels. This requires preventing and correcting the imperfections and blemishes that tend to come up. The Outlet Manager is relied upon to report these and work with several other positions to correct. Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly. The Outlet Manager must communicate with other departments and extended hotel teams to ensure the alignment remains. The items shared are essential. However, to ensure consistency, an Outlet Manager is provided with specifics on how we care for their department and our hotel. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand for up to 8 hours. Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, use hand, finger and wrist dexterity. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees are required to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate the business and demands of the hotel.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

5+ years of leadership experience in luxury hospitality or fine dining management. Proven success managing high‑volume, high‑touch restaurant operations. Previous restaurant opening experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and wine / beverage programs. Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor, and P & L performance. Ability to remain composed and solutions‑oriented in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team. You have a talent and commitment to service excellence and creativity. Communication is what keeps our departments running perfectly . You have great communication skills with a strong customer‑service ethic. English is the primary language used in our hotel. You can comfortably communicate in this language.
