PLS Construction Surveyor

We currently have the opportunity for a PLS Construction Surveyor to join our team.

Monday - Friday ( Some Saturdays ) Full Time Position.

Salary Information

• $75,000+ DOE*

Key Functions

• Travel to locations and select known reference points to determine the exact location of important features
• Establish fixed points for use in machine control
• Establish TBMs for fixed structures construction
• Properly maintain surveying instruments to ensure accuracy
• Knowledge of GPS software, total station, site level, and equipment used to facilitate surveying of heavy civil construction projects
• Compute measurements and interpret plans in order to determine positions, shapes, and elevations of roads, bridges and other structures
• Look for evidence of previous boundaries to determine where right of way lines and construction limits are located
• Record the results of surveying and verify the accuracy of onsite control points
• Provide as-builts of piles, monitoring locations and other structures when needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum five (3) years of surveying experience.
• PLS Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License
