ROLE OVERVIEW
The El Dorado Country Club is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Events & Marketing Coordinator to elevate our member experiences and drive community engagement. In this role, you will be the creative force behind our private social calendar, tournament promotions, and club marketing. You will manage end-to-end logistics for member-exclusive social events, golf tournaments, pool-side gatherings, and private banquet bookings, while managing our digital footprint to keep our membership connected and growing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Club Events & Hospitality

• Plan and execute a diverse calendar of member events, including holiday brunches, themed dinners, pool parties, and Member-Guest golf tournaments.
• Coordinate private banquet bookings, serving as the primary point of contact for members hosting weddings, corporate meetings, and private parties.
• Collaborate closely with food & beverage and golf staff to align event menus, staffing requirements, and setup layouts.
• Provide top-tier hospitality on-site during events to ensure seamless execution, high member satisfaction, and rapid problem-solving.

Marketing & Member Communications

• Manage club communication channels, including weekly member newsletters, calendar updates, and physical bulletin boards.
• Oversee social media platforms to highlight club life, promote upcoming events, and showcase our parklike amenities.
• Design visually appealing flyers, digital graphics, and promotional materials for upcoming tournaments and social functions.
• Maintain the club website with accurate operating hours, event registration links, and membership inquiry forms.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of experience in event planning, hospitality marketing, country club operations, or a closely related role.
• Strong eye for visual design and experience using basic design tools (like Canva) to create promotional materials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor suited for a private club environment.
• Exceptional multitasking skills with the ability to manage changing timelines and event logistics smoothly.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays based on the club's event calendar.
