Work one-on-one with children with autism in homes, classrooms, and communities Follow personalized plans from a BCBA Implement behavior strategies Collect data Build consistent relationships that support children’s growth Work closely with and receive mentorship from a dedicated BCBA Requirements Active RBT certification, or willingness to earn one Reliable availability across mornings, afternoons, or evenings Background in education, childcare, psychology, social work, or another role working with children Reliable transportation to reach client homes and schools Ability to work physically, including getting on the floor, moving around, and staying active Able to lift approximately 50 lbs At least 18 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a background check Legally authorized to work in the United States Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in implementing behavior strategies and personalized plans for children with autism, while building supportive relationships to foster growth.
