Job Summary:
A licensed Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN) is needed for a day shift position in Modesto, California. The role involves providing specialized inpatient dialysis care for adult and geriatric patients, focusing on managing acute kidney injury, renal failure, and other related conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Location: Modesto, California
• Schedule: Day Shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: California Registered Nurse license, BLS certification, ACLS certification, 2 years of dialysis experience, ability to cannulate AV fistula and AV graft, experience with Acute Care Inpatient Dialysis and Acute Kidney Injury, fluency in Epic electronic medical record system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Ability to manage different dialysis equipment and procedures, experience with blood and blood product administration, infection control, and emergency management.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to cannulate AV fistula and grafts, manage dialysis equipment alarms and troubleshooting, administer medications such as Mannitol and albumin, and handle emergency responses including cardiac arrest and air emboli. Vaccinations for COVID-19 and Flu are required. All certifications must be current, in hand, and compliant with American Heart Association or American Red Cross standards. Candidate submissions must include a Sutter Cover Sheet and two references obtained within the last year.
