Salesman Estimator Lumber Building Materials

Job Description Major Lumber is seeking a Salesman / Estimator to support lumber and building material sales. This role is responsible for preparing estimates, reviewing building plans, and working directly with customers on-site and at job locations. The ideal candidate has experience in the construction industry and understands how to translate plans into accurate material estimates. Pay depends on experience. Responsibilities Prepare accurate estimates based on building plans and project specifications Sell lumber and building materials to contractors and customers Review blueprints and determine material needs Travel to customer job sites using a company vehicle Build and maintain strong customer relationships Coordinate with yard and delivery teams to ensure order accuracy Qualifications Experience in construction, estimating, or building materials sales preferred Ability to read and interpret building plans and blueprints Strong communication and customer service skills Organized and detail-oriented Valid Chauffeur’s License required Benefits Competitive compensation Company vehicle provided for job site visits Opportunity for advancement Stable, team-oriented work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr Major Lumber Company
