Join our team as a detail-oriented Member Engagement Specialist at IHMVCU! We are member-focused and dedicated to providing exceptional service and fostering financial well-being for our community.

This role is located at our beautiful headquarters on River Drive in Moline, IL. This facility includes a comfortable office environment with an on-site gym facility.

Summary of Position:

Under the direction of the Member Engagement Manager, the Member Engagement Specialist will assist with developing, planning and executing member-facing events such as the IHMVCU @ Work Program and Financial Fitness Education. In addition, this position will be involved in the reporting and admin tasks related to our member experience surveys. Regional travel for events may be required.

The successful candidate should have following skills/qualifications:

• Some college coursework completed in marketing, communications, business, public relations, or a related field or equivalent experience relevant to the position. (Preferred)
• Ability to manage workload independently, balancing multiple projects and timelines.
• Ability to process and implement creative feedback.
• Experience coordinating events or assisting with event planning.
• Experience with and/or comfort speaking in front of groups and interacting with business leaders and community partners.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and the ability to create, schedule, or support engaging content across multiple channels.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or equivalent software applications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workflow, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet established deadlines.
• Ability to communicate effectively with members, coworkers, business partners, and the general public.
• Must maintain a professional demeanor, appearance, and business presence.
• Valid driver's license required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing, planning and executing member-facing events such as the IHMVCU @ Work Program and Financial Fitness Education.
• Review and provide input on marketing materials created for our events.
• Interact with IHMVCU @ Work partners, coordinating events and keeping partners engaged.
• Assist with member experience survey reporting and administrative tasks.
• Work with local school districts to provide financial education programs.
• Support webinar and seminar technology.

• Support acquisition campaigns and promotions.

Physical Requirements
