Overview
Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Start date: 09/20/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,543 to $1,615 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 2x3 Nights, with 12-hour night shifts; schedule typically includes nights around 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 a.m. Work setting: hospital-based care in the NICU as a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide NICU respiratory care, including management of invasive and noninvasive ventilation for neonates and infants
- Assess, monitor, and adjust respiratory therapy plans; participate in weaning and configuration of ventilator support
- Administer airway clearance therapies, humidified gases, and medication delivery as ordered
- Perform arterial blood gas collection and interpretation; document results and adjust therapy accordingly
- Collaborate with the NICU team (neonatologists, nurses, and therapists); participate in rounds and care planning
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure device readiness and adherence to infection control protocols
- Respond to respiratory emergencies in the NICU and provide timely interventions as part of the multidisciplinary team

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license (GA RRT Lic)
- NBRC – RRT credential
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU-specific respiratory care experience
- Ability to work in a NICU setting; willingness to travel for a travel assignment
- No local candidates within 50 miles of Lawrenceville, GA
- Holiday coverage willingness as described in assignment notes
