General Information

Tell us about the unit(s):

· Number of Beds - 10

· Number of Staff – 4

· Type of staff:

o Day Shift – ( example 1 charge, 3 RN, 2 CNA, and 1-3 sitters)- 1 charge and RNS according to census. No techs

o Night Shift - 1 charge and nurses according to census, no techs

· Patient Ratios – 2:1

· Type of equipment - Vent, CRRT, A-line, Bipap, Flow-track, IV pumps

· EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for: 

Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

· Strong ICU experience, titrating drips, pts on vents

· Bipap pts

Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.

· CRRT experience

· Transplant experience (Kidney, Pancreas, Liver)

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):   

· Care of the critically ill patient 

· Total care- turning, titrating drips, dressing changes, trach care

Best personality Fit:

· Compassionate, work well with others, good rapport with physicians.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

· ACLS, BLS

Floating Area(s):

· All ICUs, PCU, BMT
