Truck DriverA Day In The Life Operator will drive either a straight truck, or tractor-trailer to haul the required products locally or out of town. Operator will be required to spot trailers for loading and unloading and to perform other truck driving duties as directed by the supervisor. Will be required to, but not limited to, transport products between shipping departments, transport parts, stocks and other transportable items from one facility to another, make over-the-road runs, load and unload flatbed trucks, stage on dock as needed, keep required records, including shuttle move logs and daily vehicle inspection logs. Will be required to maintain the trucks by cleaning, checking the oil, general vehicle maintenance and etc. Will be required to pass the Packing and Shipping Operator's Test. Backup drivers will perform warehouse job duties as assigned. Other duties as required. Satisfactory completion of the requirements per the Department of Transportation is a prerequisite for this job. This includes a Class A CDL and a current medical certificate card. The operator must possess the required license and medical certificate before commencing work on the job.
