Shift: Day | 6:45 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 39 Hours/Week
Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to provide front-office and back-office clinical support. The MA will assist with patient rooming, vital signs, phlebotomy, appointment scheduling, EMR documentation, vaccinations, EKGs, and Point-of-Care testing.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and room patients.

• Obtain and document patient vital signs.

• Schedule and coordinate appointments.

• Answer phones and assist patients with inquiries.

• Perform blood draws and venipuncture/phlebotomy.

• Administer vaccines as directed.

• Perform EKG testing as needed.

• Perform Point-of-Care Testing (POCT).

• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.

• Provide front-office and back-office medical assisting support.

• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks and patient care.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Support health education and outreach activities.

• Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare staff.

• Follow clinical and administrative procedures.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience , excluding externship experience.

• Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred.

• Phlebotomy/Venipuncture experience required.

• EMR experience required.

• Front-office and back-office medical assisting experience.

• Recent patient rooming and vital signs experience.

• Recent appointment scheduling experience.

• Strong communication and computer skills.

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.

• BLS or CPR preferred.

Preferred Skills

• EKG testing experience.

• Point-of-Care Testing experience within the past 6 months.

• Athena EMR experience.

• Experience in a patient-focused healthcare environment.

• Experience supporting both clinical and administrative operations.

Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr
