Are you a passionate early childhood educator who thrives in a nurturing and play-based environment? We're looking for an experienced 3K teacher to join our warm, collaborative team at our preschool/daycare center in New York City !
What You'll Do:- Lead a 3K classroom using developmentally appropriate practices aligned with DOE and Creative Curriculum standards
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment that fosters curiosity and independence
- Collaborate with assistant teachers, families, and support staff to support each child’s growth
- Maintain clear, consistent communication with families about student progress
- Observe, assess, and document children’s learning through authentic methods
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a preschool or daycare setting with 3-year-olds
- Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
- Familiarity with DOE 3K standards and curriculum
- A nurturing, team-oriented approach and strong communication skills
- NYC Department of Education Teacher Certification (Birth–Grade 2 or related)
