Air Cargo - Manager on Duty

Are you ready to take off on your next career with us? Job Summary The Manager-on-Duty directs supervisory personnel within assigned functional area. Oversee and advise on staffing requirements Monitor/administer discipline/corrective action by or for subordinates Ensure customer satisfaction by daily feedback Act as liaison between first level supervisor and upper management Proactively monitor the work of assigned employees to ensure that customer satisfaction, safety, security, quality and employee relations meet or exceed standards Maintain and control all required aspects of the operation in accordance with the corporate security program and TSA legislation Ensure the required company audit requirements are undertaken to ensure continuity and compliance at all times Read, understand, and clarify the implementation of the site‑specific security plan and ensure all staff are issued with a relevant company ID and that they are required to display this identity badge Ensure they administer practices in a fair and equitable manner, where all employees, customers, vendors and other third parties are treated with respect Responsibilities Read, analyze, and interpret Employee Handbook, Supervisors Manual, applicable union contract, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, governmental regulations, airline policy and procedures manuals Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups or managers, clients, and customers Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Operate equipment and hold necessary licensing (if applicable) Perform specific responsibilities related to your shift Report to work on a regular and timely basis Minimum Qualifications: (Required) Two to five years previous management/specialist supervisory experience in field service duties Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Airline pricing experience Must be able to work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off Preferred Skills: (Desired but not required) Familiarity with personal computer software Independent judgment and decision‑making skills Excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language Physical Requirements | Working Conditions Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. unassisted Perks & Benefits Want your pay in advance?
