Maintenance TechnicianTuckers Cove Town Center, located in Punta Gorda, FL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Maintenance Technician! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Pay Rate: $29.00 per hour General Purpose: Provides daily repair and maintenance services for all aspects of the operation, including offices, public spaces, restroom facilities, grounds, and other areas as required.Key Responsibilities:Performs general repairs and maintenance for all areas within the operation, including, but not limited to: electrical, mechanical, and structural aspects of the buildings and groundsMaintains cleanliness and appearance of the exterior of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping walkways, picking up litter, and arranging outdoor furnitureMaintains cleanliness and appearance of interior areas of the facility, including, but not limited to: emptying trash cans and ashtrays, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and arranging furnitureIdentifies when supplies are needed and reports to the supervisorMaintains regular and reliable attendancePerforms other duties as requiredEducation/Experience: Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Physical Demands: Frequently uses hands and reaches with hands and arms. Regularly climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, stands, walks, and sits. Frequently lifts or carries up to 50 pounds.Environment/Noise: Occasionally works in wet or humid conditions, near moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.Certificates/Licenses: No certifications or licenses are required.Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences: Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers; equipment manuals may be in English).
