Specialty:

We are inviting board-certified or board-eligible critical care anesthesiologists with exceptional clinical and interpersonal skills to join Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) Anesthesiology, part of Jefferson Health. Critical care-trained candidates, with or without cardiac fellowship experience are encouraged to apply. In the Lehigh Valley, we have more than 70 anesthesiologists, 150 CRNAs and several resident trainees with a variety of clinical interests and expertise.

Position Overview:

• Join the Lehigh Valley Critical Care Division within LVPG's Department of Anesthesiology, closely partnering with the Bruce & Robbi Toll Heart and Vascular Institute.
• Provide care in an 11-bed cardiothoracic ICU.
• Manage a mixed-acuity patient population, including ECMO, LVAD/RVAD, CABG, valve, aortic and thoracic surgery cases.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team supported by 24/7 APC coverage.
• Enjoy flexibility with a customizable ICU/OR clinical split.
• Contribute to a robust academic environment, including 17 ACGME-accredited training programs and an anesthesiology residency.
• Participate in and pursue supported clinical research opportunities.
• Opportunity to join liver transplant team.

Job Qualifications:

• Passion for clinical work to positively impact patient care, safety and experience.
• Must be American Board of Anesthesiology Critical Care board-certified or board-eligible.
• A valid Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one is required.
