Record Center Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in document management and storage solutions, is seeking a Record Center Specialist to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Logistics and Records Management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Record Center Specialist

Location: Jessup, MD

Pay Range: $19.21

Shift: Other (08:00 AM - 05:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.

• Manually lift, carry, and load storage boxes ranging from 10 to over 100 pounds.

• Use hand carts, pallet jacks, and other material handling aids to transport items safely.

• Read labels, operate scanners, and track inventory using proprietary computer systems.

• Load and shrink-wrap pallets, and load boxes onto trucks manually or with equipment.

What's Needed?

• Ability to stand, kneel, squat, reach, and bend for extended periods.

• Physical strength to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs without assistance.

• Comfort working on uneven surfaces and operating manual handling equipment.

• Basic reading and writing skills in English.

• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment with safety precautions.
