Job Responsibilities

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy strategies to help them reach their functional goals
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Utilize research-driven practices to enhance patients' motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living abilities
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, holistic patient care
• Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers regarding therapeutic methods to maintain progress at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on track

Education Requirements

• A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education and post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensure and Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
