Responsibilities You will manage the SWFLANT training program by serving as Training Administrator for a full range of educational and instructional areas for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will administer the SWFLANT Training Program in broad areas for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will manage the Qualifications, Checklists, and Training (QCT) system. You will develop policy, instructions and procedures governing overall management of the Training Program. You will serve as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Coordinator for both Civilian and Military personnel. You will provide management advisory and consulting services on a wide range of training matters for broad specialty areas and assigned functions. You will advise key officials, board members and committee’s civilian and military managers on aspects of training program requirements as they relate to assigned specialties. You will conduct training needs assessments for positions with relatively difficult to understand work processes or with fairly specialized skills. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing comprehensive training programs by developing, delivering, and evaluating training while overseeing contracts and training systems to support mission readiness. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This announcement uses the Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) Business Management & Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-3 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 and GS-13. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
