Position: CT/X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT/X-Ray Technologist for an overnight position encompassing Friday through Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The successful candidate will be the sole technologist on duty overnight and will be responsible for performing both CT and X-ray procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures independently during overnight shifts.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while conducting imaging procedures.
• Administer and manage the preparation and administration of contrast media as needed.
• Follow all radiation safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to provide quality patient care.

Requirements

• Valid ARRT certification in CT and Radiography (ARRT CT, ARRT R).
• At least 1 year of experience as a CT/X-ray Technologist.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Ability to work independently, particularly during overnight shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and start peripheral IVs.

• Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Hospital
• Total Staff Beds: 59
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: Varies based on patient flow
• Imaging Equipment: Must be familiar with various imaging techniques including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.

Additional Information

• This position requires work on weekends: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday overnight.
• Orientation includes 32 hours of training before the start.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.
• No call or float expected; however, you may be required to assist in a nearby facility if needed.
