Lead Developer, Data Platform (Python / Databricks / AWS) Engagement Type: Contract-to-Hire Location: Boston, MA or Stamford, CT strongly preferred Onsite 4 days per week per corporate policy. EST hours required. About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on developer with a path toward technical leadership and management to join a data platform team supporting performance attribution, research, data onboarding, and data transformation work built on a proprietary methodology. This is not a day‑one management role. The expectation is a hands‑on technical lead who guides developers on architecture and grows into a Lead Manager role. What You Will Do Serve as a hands‑on technical lead, guiding developers on architecture and implementation decisions, including how to evaluate and experiment with new platform features (for example, Databricks capabilities) Implement and support data pipelines for performance attribution, research, data onboarding, and transformation workloads Support data delivery and integration patterns including API, S3, and Delta Sharing Advise on on‑premises enhancements where needed, in addition to cloud work Work as part of a Scrum team, collaborating daily with contractors based in both India and the US Required Skills and Experience Strong hands‑on Python (majority of the codebase), plus SQL Spark and Databricks experience AWS cloud environment experience, including other cloud components Proven experience implementing data pipelines, not just understanding the technology Ability to operate as a technical lead within a Scrum team and grow into a Lead Manager role Located in or able to work onsite 4 days per week in Boston or Stamford Preferred / Strong Pluses Data domain knowledge on the asset management side of the business: market data, security data, holdings data General fixed income knowledge: understanding of holdings, major security identifiers, and assets by asset class Exposure to FactSet and Delta Sharing Benefits (W2) Health insurance Health savings account Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance EEO Statement All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran. #J-18808-Ljbffr enableIT LLC
