Position Overview We are on the lookout for a talented and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Tech to become part of an expanding network of imaging professionals championing top-tier patient care. You will wield cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic procedures that deliver vital information, collaborating with a nurturing team of healthcare providers, and bringing peace and assurance to those we serve. Description of Responsibilities
- Execute a range of ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialty imaging
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and clarity
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
- Effectively operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues
- Thoroughly document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records through our electronic medical systems
- Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging procedures and best practices
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or applicable discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
- Proficient technical skills in sonographic imaging and patient positioning
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Able to work autonomously and in synergy with a multidisciplinary team
