Electrician - Commercial Construction Foreman Ray and Son Heating and Cooling | Valdosta, GA This is a hand-on working foreman position We are a full-service commercial mechanical contractor serving Nashville, Valdosta and the surrounding areas with HVAC and plumbing services for residential homeowners and commercial businesses. Our TEAM is very dedicated to what they do and are in it 'for the long haul.' The average employee has 10 or more years of service with our company. What We Provide: Take Home Vehicle + Gas Card Company Cell Phone and iPad Company Uniform Locally owned and operated Dealer training with Carrier Training for industry specific certifications Benefits: Medical Insurance 60% paid for employee Vision & Dental insurance Other supplemental insurance options 2 Weeks (80 hours) Paid Vacation 3 personal / sick days (24 hours) 6 Paid Holidays 401K + company match Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience Work Hours: 7:00am - 4:00pm What You'll Be Doing: New Construction electrical - small to medium commercial buildings, retail stores, warehouse etc. Overseeing a new construction crew or helper Run wires and cables Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints, and electrical code specifications to see layout of commercial electrical equipment installations Test electrical and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance Install, repair, or replace AC/DC motors and drives, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and gas electrical controls Install repairs, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts Install and replace generators Install electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches, and equipment required to accommodate the CEC and/or NEC What We Are Looking For: 5 + years of Commercial Electrical experience Foreman / job lead experience Journeyman or Master Electrical License Preferred Able to read and work off of electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints Must be willing to wear and follow all rules regarding PPE Color Vision: Electricians work with colored wiring and must be able to identify them by sight Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
