Speedie Recovery of South Florida, Inc. is hiring a dependable Camera Car / License Plate Recognition (LPR) Driver for the Port Charlotte area .
This position is primarily daytime driving using a company-provided camera car equipped with license plate recognition equipment.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive assigned areas throughout Port Charlotte and surrounding areas
- Operate an LPR camera vehicle to scan license plates
- Follow assigned routes and areas consistently
- Immediately report confirmed vehicle hits according to company procedures
- Communicate with dispatch and recovery agents throughout the shift
- Keep the company vehicle clean and properly maintained
- Report any vehicle, camera, or equipment problems immediately
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Maintain professional and safe driving at all times
IMPORTANT
This is NOT a repossession agent position.
You will not repossess or tow vehicles . Your job is to locate and identify vehicles using our LPR camera system and provide that information to our recovery team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver's license
- Clean and acceptable driving record
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Comfortable driving for extended periods
- Must be able to work day shifts
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Good communication skills
- Must follow assigned routes and company procedures
- Background check and drug screening may be required

IDEAL CANDIDATE
We're looking for someone who is reliable, responsible, alert, and comfortable spending most of the shift driving . Attendance and consistency are extremely important. We need someone who shows up when scheduled and covers the assigned territory every night.
