Staff Accountant

Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Staff Accountant to support the finance and accounting operations of our growing company. This role will maintain accurate financial records, support the month-end close process, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Maintain accuracy of the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports Assist with budgeting and financial analysis as needed Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice and utility processing Review and monitor corporate credit card transactions and supporting documentation Assist with audit preparation and documentation Partner with internal departments to improve understanding of expenses and budget performance Qualifications Minimum of 3+ years of general accounting experience Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred Preferred Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) High attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments Experience With Accounting Software or ERP Systems (NetSuite Preferred) Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems is preferred.
