Overview Job Description The Women’s Lacrosse Graduate Assistant at Virginia Wesleyan University is a graduate assistant position supporting a NCAA Division III program in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. The university sponsors 24 varsity sports teams and serves about 500 student-athletes. Virginia Wesleyan is located in Virginia Beach, VA. Responsibilities Report to the Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach. Assist with all aspects of the Women’s Lacrosse program, including recruitment of student-athletes, scheduling, managing and coaching games, and planning and conducting practices. Organize team travel, monitor student-athletes’ academic progress, and handle equipment maintenance. Support fundraising and other administrative duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Maintain thorough understanding of and compliance with NCAA, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, and institutional rules and regulations. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. Preference given to applicants with college coaching experience and/or experience as a college lacrosse student-athlete. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the college’s auto insurance carrier. Graduate program tuition remission and stipend are available.
