Candidate Type: Traveler

Requirements: 2+ years of L&D experience, prior travel experience, BLS, ACLS, & NRP required, AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring class taken and passed required, AWHONN Advanced fetal monitoring class and EFM certification preferred, able to handle HIGH ACUITY patients, call required: 12 hours in a 6-week scheduling period, DEMOGRAPHIC info (address, email, full DOB, full SS, RN license number) must be loaded in profile, DEGREE ACCREDITATION MUST BE ON PROFILE or MUST HAVE 5 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE, culture fit is very important.

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to high acuity Labor and Delivery patients.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to any abnormalities.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
• Document patient status and procedures accurately in Epic EMR.
