Water/Wastewater Project Manager

Multidisciplinary design firm is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Manager to join their Fayetteville team! Responsibilities include serving as the Associate Project Manager on small-to-mid-sized projects, overseeing project deliverables and completion of projects, assembling project teams and assigning individuals tasks, developing/communicating project scope, schedule, and budget with clients, team and outside contractors, primary contact for client, monitoring project budgets, reviewing costs and tracking planned budget to ensure project stays within budget, ensuring timely completion of project by securing appropriate resources for all stages of the project, identifying/resolving problems to prevent additional costs, organizing/conducting regular project meetings, documenting all project deliverables and maintaining records, building/maintaining client relationships, coordinating contract negotiations, mentoring/training junior staff, adhering to regulations and enforcing safety standards, and meeting/exceeding client expectations.

Requirements include an associate's degree with equivalent experience, a bachelor's degree in engineering or related area preferred, 6+ years of project experience, strong understanding of water and wastewater services, wastewater project experience (piping extensions/rehabilitation, new pump stations/rehabilitation, treatment plant rehabilitation for various types of treatment processes, and new treatment plant projects), strong organizational, leadership, and negotiation skills.
