Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly, 72-hour guarantee) | 12-hour shifts, 18:00–06:00

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, care, and progress using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in-hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience; experience in a high-volume or trauma facility may be considered in lieu of 3 years
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must be verified through Nursys prior to submission
• Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Must reside outside of a 50-mile local radius

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of emergency room nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Experience in high-volume or trauma-level emergency environments
