Job Description As a Security Officer Lobby Attendant in Asbury Park, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer at a shelter location, you will remain a visible, welcoming presence while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and responding to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Mon 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Tue 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You\'ll Do Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting residents, guests, and staff, and supporting security-related protocols for the location. Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or sign-in information, and documenting entries, exits, and deliveries according to site guidelines. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate. Maintain detailed front desk logs, incident reports, and shift activity records to support security-related operations and continuity between shifts. Observe activity in the lobby and other assigned entry areas, report unusual behavior and/or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through a professional presence. Minimum Requirements Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
