Job Description
Job Title: Surgical Technologist
Profession: Nursing

Shift: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Hours per Shift: 12 hours (0630-1900)
Experience: Minimum of 3 years
License: Unrestricted license to practice as a Surgical Technologist in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date.
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Surgical Technologist certification (NCCT TS-C or NBSTSA CST) preferred.

Must-Have:
- Ortho experience
- DaVinci Robot experience

Description:
Maintains sterile field and instrumentation for all surgical procedures.
Prepares the operating room and supplies for each surgical case in a neat and efficient manner.
Communicates with all other members of the perioperative team to provide the highest standard of care according to AORN standards for patients in the intraoperative period.
Works collaboratively with co-workers, stocks, and orders supplies for the department.
Provides additional supportive patient care as directed by others.
Candidates must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8000 ft elevation).
