Warehouse Operator Job Description Supervisor's Title: Production Team Leader Department: Production Location: Gooding Cheese Plant Exempt Status: Hourly At Glanbia Nutritionals Inc., our portfolio centers on dairy and non-dairy nutritional ingredients. Job Summary

Oversee the efficient operations in the warehouse

Essential Functions

• Insure that cheese is received, documented and put away in the required manner
• Assist Warehouse Manager and Senior Lead Person in efficient running of the warehouse
• Load trucks in a safe, timely, and efficient manner
• Assure product being loaded meets customer specifications
• Fill in for operators as needed
• Assist plant management in projects as assigned
• Ensure plant meets, and employees follow current GMP standards
• Work in accordance with Glanbia core values
• Fulfill other responsibilities and task as assign by Plant Management

Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct. Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to run, or learn to run and troubleshoot all equipment in the Gooding Cheese Warehouse

Ability to drive or learn to drive a forklift

Desire to grow with the company

Willingness to attend training classes as needed

Willingness to work day or night shifts as needed

Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment

Excellent record required in safety, attendance, and punctuality

Ability to stand and walk the entire shift if needed

Ability to read and write instructions in English

Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals

Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required

Typical Environmental Conditions May be exposed to ___85+______ noise levels in which hearing protection will be needed.
