Registered Dental Hygienist Opportunity

HealthYes Staffing Network is recruiting a Registered Dental Hygienist for a full-time or part-time opportunity with a community health organization in West Texas.

This position offers the opportunity to provide preventive dental care within a supportive, patient-centered environment that serves communities with a meaningful need for accessible oral health services.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric dental cleanings
• Complete periodontal assessments and charting
• Remove plaque, calculus, and stains
• Provide scaling and root planing when clinically appropriate
• Take and process dental radiographs
• Apply fluoride and preventive treatments
• Educate patients regarding oral hygiene and disease prevention
• Review medical histories and identify relevant health concerns
• Document findings and treatment accurately
• Collaborate with dentists on patient treatment plans
• Maintain infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Support community oral-health education when needed

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental-hygiene program
• Active Texas Dental Hygienist license or eligibility
• Current CPR or BLS certification
• Dental radiology qualifications required for assigned duties
• Knowledge of periodontal care and preventive dentistry
• Strong patient-education and communication abilities
• Commitment to compassionate, culturally responsive care
• Experienced hygienists and qualified recent graduates encouraged to apply
