Travel Respiratory Therapist - $2,880 per week

Froedtert Health is hiring a travel Respiratory Therapist for a 13‑week assignment in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The role involves working 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts (18:00‑06:30, 3 shifts per week, weekend rotation required). Job Summary A Respiratory Care Practitioner performs respiratory care and pulmonary diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: Treatment and management of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities. Conducting diagnostic evaluations and pulmonary testing. Providing ventilatory support and bronchopulmonary clearance. Performing breathing exercises, patient education, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and airway maintenance. Working in critical and non‑critical care areas for patients of all ages. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in both general and critical care. Associate Degree from a CoARC‑accredited Respiratory Care program. Current State of Wisconsin License as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). BLS certification. ACLS certification. Work authorization: U.S. Citizen. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting providing respiratory care. Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care. Membership in the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) and Wisconsin Society for Respiratory Care (WSRC).
