Job Overview The RUBY Operations team partners with the Global Process Owners (GPO) in process standardization and design, ensuring business processes are enabled through standard data and technology platforms. The group provides a single interface for Finance and Risk group’s strategic initiatives, allowing for one integrated view of technology design, architecture, and prioritization. This position is part of the team that operates Citi’s RUBY forecast platform used for interest rate risk, CCAR, and internal financial forecasting exercises. The team supports regulatory‑mandated external forecast scenarios as well as internally focused planning and analytical exercises. This role will execute existing forecast processes and work with business and technology partners to identify, develop and enhance new functionality. The position requires a deep operational and theoretical understanding of interest‑rate‑risk measurement, and offers the candidate the opportunity to influence the demand for onboarding models and suggest process and technical enhancements to improve the efficiency of the model onboarding process. The role involves analytical work and cross‑team partnership to identify solutions to Treasury and Risk inquiries, owning implementation and execution steps to move open issues to completion. It will also involve team decision‑making around project prioritization, platform direction, and strategic direction, including defining information and refining process requirements in partnership with Global Process Owners, Operations and Technology. Support for an active forecasting engine and balancing conflicting partner and platform priorities will be required. This job offers extensive exposure to risk and finance processes within Citi and interaction with various organizational levels, enhancing analytical, communication, teamwork, negotiation and problem‑solving skills. Responsibilities Lead integration of functions, partnering with senior management teams to meet goals and deploy new products and process enhancements. Solve high‑impact, high‑profile problems with significant business impact through in‑depth evaluation of complex business and system processes and industry standards. Serve as the contact for model onboarding within RUBY; collaborate with modeling teams, comprehend business requirements, perform cost estimations, and create project development plans based on scope. Produce customized technical solutions. Decide business priorities, project timelines, resource planning, manage project risks, and ensure delivery while appropriately managing work assigned to the RUBY model onboarding team. Qualifications 2+ years of program or project management experience within Information Technology. 2+ years of experience working for a financial services organization. 2+ years with data modeling and the modeling process, including working knowledge of model development, validation, testing, and technical implementation/onboarding for production use. 2+ years of experience with SAS, Java, Python, or other modeling languages, and Oracle DB. Thorough knowledge of interest‑rate‑risk concepts such as duration, convexity, and familiarity with modeling paradigms. Sound understanding of the fundamental Balance Sheet and P&L. Experience analyzing actual and forecast results, especially Balance Sheet and Treasury. Understanding of transfer pricing and other intercompany items. Seasoned experience working with large data sets. Working knowledge of Citigroup financial systems (PEARL / GENESIS / etc.) a plus. Strong written and oral communication skills with experience delivering detailed status and information to partners and stakeholders at various levels. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or another quantitative/technical field, or equivalent work experience.
