Registered Nurse - Nights

Role: A registered nurse providing high-level, technical, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, working with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct and indirect nursing care based on the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation). Supervise and collaborate with team members to provide developmentally appropriate care. Maintain clear communication with patients, families, and staff to promote understanding and a therapeutic environment. Ensure accurate documentation and safe medication administration. Support educational processes for patients and families. Adhere to hospital policies and standards, utilizing interpersonal and team-building skills. Take accountability for personal and professional growth, seeking continuous improvement. Maintain a safe environment, managing physical demands and environmental hazards associated with healthcare settings. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current Texas nursing license. Basic Life Support certification; additional certifications as required.Minimum 12 months RN experience or completion of Nurse Residency Program. Knowledge of hospital policies, procedures, and care standards. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
