Gain ownership of impactful compliance programs.Job DescriptionHR Compliance Manager OverviewThe HR Compliance Manager will ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations globally.This role involves managing compliance programs and collaborating with HR, Legal, and Talent Acquisition teams.Opportunity to work in a fast-growing organization with ownership of compliance programs.Requires expertise in U.S. employment laws and global compliance standards.Hybrid work model with four days onsite and one day remote weekly.Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure compliance and risk management.Contribute to creating a culture of fairness and integrity within the organization.Ideal for professionals with strong judgment and attention to detail.HR Compliance Manager Key Responsibilities & DutiesLead and oversee the background check program, managing vendor relationships and ensuring compliance with regulations.Ensure I-9 compliance and implement process improvements for accurate documentation and audit readiness.Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Talent Acquisition to maintain compliance throughout the employee lifecycle.Oversee employment law compliance, including leaves, salary transparency, and recordkeeping.Develop and maintain domestic and international employment policies in partnership with Legal.Support audits of restrictive covenant agreements and offboarding protocols for consistency and compliance.Work with Payroll and HR Operations to ensure compliance with pay, tax, and reporting obligations.Conduct internal audits and maintain records to reduce risk and support reporting requirements.Advise HR and business leaders on compliance practices and foster accountability.HR Compliance Manager Job RequirementsBachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR compliance or related fields.Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and background check regulations.Experience working with third-party background screening vendors.Preferred HR certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.Experience in multi-state or global organizations is a plus.Familiarity with Oracle HR systems and compliance tracking tools preferred.Excellent judgment and ability to explain complex rules in plain language.
